These are definitely the absolute best cookies I make. Especially because they are perfect to share with friends and family during this time of year. Additionally, it is the combination of caramel and toffee pieces that gives it its chewy texture. So, say hello to my famous Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie recipe is without a doubt the best if I do say so myself. Above all, it really is a classic chocolate chip cookie. Especially because I have not messed with the ingredients list too much. Therefore nothing is taken away from all the usual things we love about cookies. However, I have added ingredients such as caramel sauce and toffee pieces to make it even better. Besides, it’s the toffee pieces that level these cookies up! As a result of the toffee pieces, these cookies are chewy-centered. And oh so nice. However, make sure to take a bite before it has fully set to get the amazing gooey chocolatey taste for an even better experience. Obviously, it is hard to put them down after you have had the first bite because these cookies are just so amazing.

Whenever I am too busy to make them on the same day I prepare them the night before. For a special event such as a family gathering. The cookies will be as delicious and nice. Of course, you can also put them back in the oven for a couple of minutes before serving so the gooey chocolate would still be incorporated. By the time the cookies are ready to come out of the oven, the tea will be ready. In case there is a bigger group of you at the gathering, therefore, I would make a double batch in one go.

Tips For Making These Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • In case you like treats with a touch of salt. Why not add some sea salt to top off your cookies.
  • In a mood to serve them at the Christmas dinner, for instance, use 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and serve as a perfect treat after your turkey dinner. No doubt it will taste like Christmas in your mouth.
  • Alternatively, try using gluten-free all-purpose flour for a gluten-free option.
  • By all means, mix things up and add white or milk chocolate together with the bitter chocolate. Make sure to change the quantities for that occasion though.

Caramel Sauce is clearly the best addition for these cookies.

In fact, caramel sauce is my favorite with cookies such as this one. In order to pour in the caramel sauce using whatever kitchen utensil to make an indentation. For example, I use a wooden spoon. Additionally, the recipe for the sauce can be found here. Of course, it’s important you let the caramel sauce cool completely. In spite of feeling the urge to eat the caramel sauce out of the jar try and resist and wait until the cookies are ready. Because the caramel sauce really compliments the taste of these cookies. Finally, all you have to do is pack the cookies up and serve them to your family or friends. In other words, it’s the perfect way to get some brownie points for your unbelievable baking skills.

Whether it’s for family, friends, or just yourself, bring forth the magic with these oh so tempting bites of delight. By all means, go ahead and enjoy!
