Chicken Ricotta Burger with Sriracha Aioli

1.5K

I’m always on the hunt for a really great chicken burger – one that stands up to the weight and flavor of a cheeseburger – and this is it. The combination of bacon and ricotta in the burger is so good. It couldn’t be more simple: mix up ground chicken, ricotta, and bits of crispy bacon, throw it on a hot grill or pan, and add your favorite condiments and a brioche bun. Just make sure you do not forget the sriracha aioli!

This will be a hit at any BBQ or picnic, offered with lots of crunchy veggies to pile on top, and would also make great sliders if you’re looking for a casual cocktail treat.

So Simple!

You know I love a simple recipe! For me, there’s nothing better than throwing together some ingredients, and without any fuss or bother turning them into a super tasty dish. My Chicken Ricotta Burger with Sriracha Aioli fits that bill perfectly. This really is a no fuss recipe that packs a punch on the taste front but which won’t take it out of you in the kitchen.

Why the Sriracha Aioli?

Try it…you’re going to love it! The hot sauce kick of the sriracha, soothed by the creamy mayo, is just the perfect addition to this burger. Chicken and ricotta are quite mild flavors, so they can really take the hit of the sriracha; the flavor combination works so well.

What Other Ingredients are Making this Work?

I’ve added bacon in here because…well, who doesn’t love bacon in a burger?! No seriously, the mild taste of the chicken and ricotta allow other flavors to burst through. The lemon and parmesan add a subtle tang that lifts the flavor overall, and parsley is there to add that mild peppery taste. Even more peppery is the arugula, which will hit you first as you bite in, and which also keeps from going limp and soggy like so many other leaves.

  43. Delicious!!! I came across this recipe on your IG, Chef Stu. I put burgers in the freezer for an hour so the patties would stick together before putting them on the grill. The flavor of these burgers is better than any beef burger. The ricotta cheese and bacon add so much to the overall taste. I skipped the sriracha and made a garlic aioli instead and added a slice of tomato. This recipe is going to be in the regular rotation at my house.

  44. Sabrina Elwell says:

I’ve made these at least 7 times and always turn out great!

    Shout out Stu!!!!
