This crispy orange beef is just so so tasty and so simple to make any night of the week.
Crispy Orange beef or at Panda Express, it is called Beijing beef is one of the most popular dishes on the Panda Express menu, and I’m sure you all know why!
This recipe will make you get up and dance around the room. Yes! It is that good. Whenever I take my first bite, I shake my head because it’s just so sinfully good.
This recipe can be changed to chicken if you like. It then turns into Orange chicken. In my opinion, this recipe tastes a lot better than Panda Express. If you do not make the whole recipe, then I would advise you to keep this sauce recipe in your back pocket. It goes with EVERYTHING! LOL. I like to use this sauce for my Chinese Lettuce Cups too! I think it is an excellent recipe if you want something lighter but want that delicious Asian flavor.
Tips:
- Make sure you pat dry the beef before you toss in cornstarch; you want the meat super dry so it can be extra crispy.
- Make sure you have the sweet. Chili sauce, you can’t substitute this ingredient for the crispy orange beef.
- You can make this healthier by eating it in lettuce cups.
