Liquid Comfort
Now here’s the thing, if you do get news that spells disaster for your reputation, there is probably no better drink to go to. The honey whiskey or bourbon is always comforting, and the sweetness of the drink will bring you back to life in no time. This is basically my alcoholic alternative to a cup of tea for shock. And let’s face it…when the news is this shocking, you need the alcohol!

Ingredients
2 ounces (60 ml) vodka
1 ounce (30 ml) honey whiskey or bourbon
2 ounces (60 ml) lemonade
Club soda
Orange slice, for garnish
Instructions
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake the vodka, whiskey, and lemonade. Strain into a tall glass or mason jar filled with ice, top with club soda, and garnish with an orange slice.
