Ingredients
1/4 cup Maldon smoked sea salt or regular
1 teaspoon tajin
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1/2 Fresno chili or jalapeno or serrano, chopped
One lime, juiced
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 oz Cointreau
2 oz good Tequila Blanco
lime soda, for garnish
Instructions
- Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with the lime and dip the glass into smoked salt and tajin mixed on a small plate.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle cilantro leaves with chili, lime juice, and simple syrup.
- Add Cointreau and tequila and shake with ice for 20 seconds.
- Strain into a glass with fresh ice and garnish with the top of the chili or jalapeño and some cilantro.
- Top with lime soda. Serve.
