Ingredients
3 cups frozen mixed berries
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon maple syrup
Juice 1 lemon
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup cocoa powder
6 Medjool dates, pitted
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup sliced almonds
2 cups greek yogurt
Instructions
- In a medium nonstick pan over medium heat, place berries 1 tablespoon maple syrup, lemon, cornstarch, and water and simmer for 10 mins or until thickened.
- in a food processor, pulse walnuts, cocoa powder, dates, salt, and almonds together. Press into a brownie pan or a bowl to pack the mixture. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Mix yogurt and 1 teaspoon maple syrup together.
- Start to layer the ingredients into a large wine glass or a milkshake glass (as shown), brownie mixture, yogurt, brownie crumbles, berries and yogurt, and repeat and top with almonds to finish.
