Hot Dogs 3 Ways

These are my favorite combo of hot dogs. Enjoy!

  • Yield: 18 servings

Ingredients

18 beef hot dogs, good quality

18 brioche hot dog buns or regular buns

1/2 cup melted unsalted butter

BBQ Bacon Dogs

1 cup favorite bbq sauce

1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese

6 strips cooked bacon

Buffalo Hot Dogs

1 cup shredded carrot, rinsed

1/2 cup Franks Hot Sauce

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

1/2 cup chopped celery

Street Corn Dogs

1 bunch cilantro leaves

1 cup freshly grilled corn, cut off the ear

1/3 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup cojita cheese

1 teaspoon chili powder

Chili flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Grill Hot dogs over a medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes each side. Set aside in aluminum foil to keep warm.
  2. Brush each bun with some melted butter, toast lightly on the grill.
  3. For the bbq dogs – Cook bacon and set aside, add bbq sauce to the bacon fat and stir to combine. Top hot dog with cheese, bacon, and a good drizzle of bbq sauce.
  4. For the Buffalo hot dogs- Top hot dogs with ranch, hot sauce, carrot, celery, and blue cheese crumbles.
  5. For the Street corn dogs- Combine sour cream, mayo, cheese, and chili powder. Top hot dogs with cream mixture, corn cilantro and garnish with chili flakes.
