Nutella French Toast Roll-Ups

I don’t have to say much about these Nutella French Toast Roll-Ups. You just need to go to the store right now and make them right now. Delicious does not do them justice.

Ingredients

8 slices brioche bread

8 tablespoons Nutella or hazelnut Chocolate spread, room temperature

2 eggs

1 tablespoon half and half

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

23 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons bakers sugar or superfine sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place slices of bread on a chopping board, using a rolling pin, flatten out each slice.
  2. Spread chocolate hazelnut on top of each slice. Roll up bread to resemble a roll up like in the picture.
  3. Whisk eggs with half and half and vanilla. Dip each roll-up into the mixture. Repeat with all rollups.
  4. Preheat a skillet with a tablespoon of butter over medium heat on a nonstick skillet and cook for about 2 minutes each side. add more butter if needed.
  5. Roll in the sugar mixture and enjoy!
