Ingredients
8 slices brioche bread
8 tablespoons Nutella or hazelnut Chocolate spread, room temperature
2 eggs
1 tablespoon half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons bakers sugar or superfine sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Place slices of bread on a chopping board, using a rolling pin, flatten out each slice.
- Spread chocolate hazelnut on top of each slice. Roll up bread to resemble a roll up like in the picture.
- Whisk eggs with half and half and vanilla. Dip each roll-up into the mixture. Repeat with all rollups.
- Preheat a skillet with a tablespoon of butter over medium heat on a nonstick skillet and cook for about 2 minutes each side. add more butter if needed.
- Roll in the sugar mixture and enjoy!
